Pheid is a group notification app. Every account has a handle. Share your @handle (or name@handle for a sub-channel), and anyone who enters it gets your push notifications. It's focused on one-way broadcasts so your messages always land as clear, actionable updates.
Tap the subscribe button on the home screen and enter the handle shared by the channel's owner — @handle for their main channel, or name@handle for a sub-channel. You can also scan their QR code or tap a pheid.app/join link. You'll start receiving notifications immediately.
Your main channel is created automatically with your handle. To create a sub-channel, tap the create button on the home screen, name it, and pick a short sub-code — subscribers join with subcode@yourhandle. Free accounts can create up to 3 sub-channels.
Share your handle any way you like — text, email, poster, business card. The app also gives you a QR code to scan and a pheid.app/join link you can send. All three point to the same channel.
Yes. When composing a message, tap the schedule button to send it later — one-time at a specific date and time, or recurring (daily, weekly, monthly). Schedules are timezone-aware and handle daylight saving transitions automatically.
Yes. Pheid follows your system theme by default, and you can force light or dark in Settings.
Yes. Subscribing to channels is always free with no limits.
Pro gives you unlimited sub-channels and up to 10,000 messages per month (free tier: 3 sub-channels, 100 messages/month). It's available as a monthly ($4.99) or yearly ($49.99) subscription.
Subscriptions are managed through your device's app store:
You'll keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
Go to Settings in the App and tap "Delete Account." This permanently removes all your data including channels, subscriptions, and messages. This action cannot be undone.
Make sure notifications are enabled for Pheid in your device settings:
Some Android manufacturers (Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei) have aggressive battery optimization that can delay notifications. Check your device's battery settings and exempt Pheid from optimization.
